I swear every time there is an update you make things worse, if you can't make required parameter templates why on earth would you remove the ability to manually add parameters this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever,

And to top it of you have also removed the ability to reconfigure the Z-wave, Even using the Installer app fails to reconfigure the mesh and shows no information for any of the devices.

For me this is causing huge issues as we have multiple large projects currently underway and are now unable to finish these installs properly.

you can't make

you have also removed

This is for the larger part a forum with users of the Fibaro Nice platform who try to help each other or exchange solutions. I don't know who you mean with "you". Maybe better if you use the support route if you want to address Fibaro Nice.

I get many questions reading your short first post. You don't ask a question, so maybe you only want to show your frustration. One of the questions I have, why would you use a (also fresh) beta version on "multiple large projects".

Welcome to the forum. If you have any questions, let us know.

What do you mean?
The option to define parameters manually is still there...

Please login or register to see this attachment.

Please be more specific, we can't help if we don't understand the issue.

As for installer app, I will check this right now.

EDIT:
I did check the installer app, everything works - devices status, current routes, mesh reconfiguration.
Are you sure you have still valid installer certificate? ;)

Not the original poster... but I echo the same frustration.

I dont see parameters , Installer App does not show devices or a way to reconfigure mesh. Could  it be because using zwave engine 3 (as i am)?

--------------------------

Edit: after upgrading to 5.182 both controllers Installer App shows devices and allows mesh reconfiguration. New Yubbi interface seems to load faster and actions snapier in my 290 device installation. Parameters still need to be set up by templates.

ZW3 is not supported in installer app in full - no mesh config.
About the parameters definition, on 3.0 engine there is an option to upload definition in json format which is a bit more flexible - no manual adding like on 2.0

Mesh in Zwave 3.0 until now seems less reliable and much slower than in 2.0. Fibaro relays 3 meter away from its controller disconnect It happens from time to time with both controllers and did not happen at with 2.0, same devices same controllers. That's why Im intertested in manual mesh mantainance. Do you know if 5.182 improves this? The documentation  says that 3.0 will be the default from now on so I assume there must be some improvements regarding mesh the hood, right?

There are, in general, lots of changes pas few versions of 3.0 to improve it.

One thing you need to understand, mesh is something managed on protocol level (Z-Wave chip + Z-Wave SDK) - not by the client.
It does not matter if its 2.0 or 3.0 in this case, mesh is built and maintained automatically. Triggering mesh reconfigurstion just forces the procedure to be speed up, does not affect the overall performance in time as this is self-changing/self-healing process which is always in progress.

Mesh reconfiguration is not available on ZW3.0 in the same way it was on 2.0 - but if you like you can check the API definitions in swagger, you will see there some functions which may be interesting for you.
