The file is highlighted, but they used a less contrasty color.

Yes, as a Lua developer on the HC3 this updates feels as form over function. I like slick GUI's, but the debug log is hard to read now.

Swagger is almost impossible to read. 

 

It is a beta, I think (hope) they will change it.

It might not be just the color and contrast of the debug, but even in the block scene it’s clear that the text is unreadable. So in my opinion, that also needs to be fixed. The Dark theme is being used.

You can’t see what you’re typing or what should be entered, and nothing is visible in those three fields.

@m.roszak, please revert this change back to the device view.

Previously, it was clear at a glance which device was the master and which were the children, but now this is no longer the case and all devices are separated identically. This greatly reduces clarity.

it’s even worse: the behavior changes depending on the theme. In dark mode, some device group lines are shown – but incorrectly – while in light mode, no device groups appear at all

It is ridiculous that after all this years we are commenting interface styles problems instead of functionality, not to mention that is now worse than before.

But when we are commenting on the styles then:

 

In dark mode Swagger needed parameters field is white and also text so not readable except if selected as on picture below:
