HC3L and Enphase PV return of electricity

Question

Posted

Hi, I’m looking for a way to prevent the return of my power consumption.

In my house, i have a HC3L with Enphase inverters.

Today i installed the CT clamps to measure production and consumption. I installed a plugin from the marketplace from Enphase, so Enphase is intergrated into my Fibaro.

Now i’m looking for a way to configure it so i don’t feed power back into the grid, because i have to pay for that.

Does anyone know a solution fort his? (If possible an answer in Dutch would be nice).

Thanks!

Hi @Dannydh,

Which "plugin" or actually QuickApp (QA) did you installed?

If it is this one:

then solution can be quite easy since it is the one I made.

    Hi @Dannydh,

First of all thank you for using my solution.

Enphase Envoy monitor QA can't control Envoy, but it gives you information on current production and consumption of your system. If I understood you correctly you want to avoid any export produced power to the grid. On the picture below I rounded device that shows current power that is feed to the grid and you can use it to add some more control to your HC3L, e.g. turn on some consumers when production is higher than consumption and device 📊 Huidig exporteren netwerk balansNow export net-balance is not 0:

Also, device 📊 Gemiddeld netwerk balans can be used to check if exporting is rising or falling since it shows average of last 5 minutes exporting/importing power if slider is set to max 10 measurements and refresh interval is set to 30 seconds. That is also recommended settings.

For example at the moment I made screenshot my system current production was 2520W and consumption 1448W, so was currently exporting 1072W while average power was exporting 1155W which is higher from current exporting and that means that production was falling because of moving clouds. Also to mention that exported power and energy is shown in negative values.

Sorry for my English, but I do not speak Dutch.
