can't change device icon for remotes

I can't change device icon for remotes to my own that I uploaded (128x128).

After investigation It looks that you have started to use icons 192x192x8 😀 but uploading of even same default icon doesn't work because you want to have only size 128x128 ...

 

Here is downloaded icons from HC3 - newest beta (all 192x192 points):

Could you pls check this? Even in new beta 5.183 it doesn't work ...

This stopped working few versions back. I already wrote about that problem, but still the same even in this last beta.

I remember that I was working on HC3 slave devices and remotes where with my custom icons until I did update.

BTW my icons are all 128x128 and had never problems with uploading and selecting them.

All my 128x128 icons in latest beta are shown without any problems on almost all types of devices that accept custom icons except remotes.

 

I try to import 192x192 png (72 DPI) keyFob icon and it was refused by my HC3 with error that icon must be 128x128.

 

I know that original icons if saved from system are 192x192, not only for remotes, but also for other types of devices, but as far as I remember Fibaro boxes only accepted PNG icons with 128x128 pixels and 72 DPI size.

Hi @m.roszak,

 

Devices of type "com.fibaro.remoteController" baseType "com.fibaro.actor" still do not accept custom icons even it is possible to upload icons and select them.

When custom icon is selected then we get this:
