Can't update and can't get support

Hello,

two weeks ago I asked for support at [email protected]

 

My problem is I can't update HC2 to the last version... it has 3.548

If I do update, I get "Upgrade Error: 5"

 

Almost two weeks have passed, but I have no answer either solution.

 

Help me, please!

Hi @DePon,

 

Since your HC2 is on very very old FW I do not think it is possible to upgrade. If I remember correctly 3.600 is needed to go to 4.080 first. After that not sure if it is possible to go straight to latest FW 4.630. Since HC2 is EOL (End Of Life) it is only good will from Fibaro support to help if even possible since it is very, very, very old firmware on your HC2.

 

In my humble opinion it is maybe better to go for new Yubii Home, HC3L, HC3 or even some other solution depending on the number of devices planned to be installed.

    I think, and I do hope Fibaro support can help me, but they didn't even answer my ticket...

     

    I don't think using HC2 as a brick is a good way for me... I have one more, and it works perfectly with more than 50 Fibaro devices...

     

    I hope I may have one more, like a reserve one...
