Problem with heating control - keeps doing manual overrides and not reacting to thermostat temp

Question

Posted

Hi all, we have HCL3 lite with two heating controllers in different zones connected via the climate settings to use two room thermostats.

We have the following issues:

1. The controllers are slow to react or don't react to the thermostat temperatures. ie. when the room as above the set temp the controllers are not switching the heating off until the temp reduces. in fact if the temp is already above the set point the heating still comes on.

2. The app and web login often shows that we are in manual mode for two hour periods even though we never selected any manual mode. it should be heat to schedule. The profile used just sets both controllers to heat to schedule. One of them shows its in schedule mode, but the heating is on even though the temp is above set point. The other controller shows a 2 hour override running but the heating seems to react to the temp.

Any thoughts on the above? This is driving me mad. what happens make no sense.

I have created profiles for heating on and heating off. I then created a scenes that set the profile. This seems to randomly set the heating as on override?

My latest thought is in the scene to set the profile and then remove climate override schedule - but this doesn't work.
