Do Elero RolMotion M-868 (with ProLine 2 bidirection communication protocol) motors report position to the Yubii Home?

Question

Posted (edited)

I recently bought Elero RollMotion M-868 tubular motors for our covers:

I also just bought the Yubii Home for them, which supports the ProLine 2 bidirectional protocol that they use:

I was able to pair the motors and control them.

However, one major criterion for me, is that they report their position. But they are shown with Role: "Blind without positioning". (see screenshot)

Do these motor support reporting their position?

Note: This is with Yubii Home firmware version 5.170.17. (I have not been able to update the firmware yet due to an error.)

These motors will only report if they are open, closed, favourite position 1 or 2 (when set) or somewhere in between.
They won't show you an exact position where they are.

Thank you for your reply. It is very much appreciated!

That is very disappointing. The motors are near perfect because of their integrated motor-controller that integrates with an automation platform (Fibaro/Yubii Home Hub).
But this kills the automation-integration for me

Given this, I will return the Yubii Home Hub (I bought it only for the motors) and look into whether I can reliably operate them with a Shelly 2PM. These do report position and cost less. But there the challenge becomes calibrating them correctly and managing the two speeds (i.e. Whisper mode) that these motors support....  *sigh*
