HC3 automatic restart

Hi everyone,

I have a question are there any circumstances under which the HC3 might restart automatically?
I’ve noticed that roughly once a day the system reboots by itself. It happens quickly, so it’s not easy to catch during normal operation.

At the moment, around 89% of RAM is in use could it be that when it reaches 100%, the controller triggers a restart?
In the past, the HC3 occasionally froze and stopped executing scenes, but since the latest update, I haven’t noticed that issue anymore.

My setup is quite large  over 112 Z-Wave devices, with around 35% of internal storage used.
I also have many energy meters reporting data every 10 seconds.

Right now, the system seems stable, but I’d like to understand whether these periodic restarts are normal behavior or if they might indicate a hidden problem.

I seem to have a problem that could be related. With 81 devices (which I have had for quite some time) I don't seem to be able to run or save scenes. Whenever that happens and I try to save a scene, it doesn't do so and when I return to Scenes it tells me I don't have any and the devices-page doesn't load or really slowly. I just noticed some scenes (or maybe all) don't seem to run on trigger at all.

 

The only thing I can do at that time is reboot the system. 

 

I am about to start a rather large project, so can anyone clarify what is going on/how to fix this? Is there a way to go back to a previous version?
