how restore a backup? no option!

Hello

 

After Hc2 gives me lots delays etc etc , I decided to rest it I try to restore from backup, but it seems strange, no option to restore ??

Not only that you cannot restore a backup, but I see that you even cannot create a new one. Delete button is missing also.

 

- Are you logged in with a proper account, not some kind of guest?

- Was it just a reset/reboot or reimage to a version older than 4.630 maybe?

    Very thanks for replay, I found the solution, I don't know why my account after reset, isn't in administrative account, I need to enter with admin and then I can have full functionalities .

    Thanks for the confirmation.

     

    This is normal behavior - after HC2 OS drive reimage via "Recovery Mode GUI" your original account (email login) is marked as "User" and has limited rights.

    Therfore you have to login with local admin:admin account in order to restore HC2 backups.

    After restoring backup, your original account becomes "SuperUser" again.
