How to change WAKE UP INTERVAL in Home Assistant?

Question

Posted

Hello,

recently I  bought a pack of Fibaro Smoke Sensors, since it seemed they are a good choice for Z-wave based system.

I am running Home Assistant OS 2025.10.4.

In the manual, the WAKE UP INTERVAL is given as first advanced parameter, but I can't find the stting to change this in HA?

Could anyone please point me to the setting, where I can change this and make it longer then 6h as set in default - 24h would be great to save the battery.

Thank you and best regards,

Nib2k

Where you do the configuration depends on which Z-Wave integration you have installed.
Click on the Z-Wave JS add-on or the Z-Wave integration to find all Z-Wave devices there.
Select Configure to find the parameters you want to change.

And if you want good answers to your HA questions, it's better to ask them on HomeAssistant's forum.

Search for "Fibaro Smoke Sensor"

    Thanks for your comment RH_Dreambox!

I will check in the HA community, I just tought I might find answers here faster, because this forum is about FIBARO, but you are right I guess.

Unfortunately the WAKE UP INTERVAL parameter is not visible in the Z-Wave JS integration ... this is why I am confused how to find and set this.

    Have a nice day!

    Best Regards, nib2k
