Hi experts,

I need some advice. My roller shutter 2 is broken and I need to replace it. Now I have a roller shutter 4. But I'm having trouble connecting it. Sorry, I'm not an electrician. Previously, the wall switch was connected directly to L. But now it's connected to L on the roller shutter 4. Do I have to do it this way, or can I use the old method?

Hi @SteMo_33,

you don't have to use the extra "L" terminal on the RS4, you can just use the old method if you want to keep your wiring.

In the end it is the same, the extra "L" terminal is just for easier wiring and no need of any additional connectors (wago etc.) if newly installed.
