Heltun HE-HT01 firmware – has anyone received v2.7 (or any support)?

Hi,

 

I recently installed a Heltun HE-HT01 thermostat. It intermittently reported strange power load errors, but otherwise worked fine. I thought I’d check whether a newer firmware existed that might fix this.

 

Here’s what I did:

• Found v2.5 listed as the latest firmware on the Heltun support page (

• Checked my current version (parameter 3). The value was 120207. There’s no explanation of how to interpret this in the manual or on the Heltun support page. ChatGPT “helped” by telling me this meant firmware v2.07.

• I then “updated” the firmware via my Fibaro HC3.

 

After that, the following problems appeared:

• The thermostat’s temperature and humidity sensors stopped working.

• The screen went dark and doesn’t react to touch.

• I can still change parameters via Z-Wave, and heat control via the floor temperature sensor only still works.

 

Ideally, I’d like to re-install the original firmware (v2.7 / 2.07) and get the full functionality back.

 

I’ve contacted Heltun support several times, including reminders, but have not received any response at all – not even an auto-reply confirming they received the request.

 

My questions:

• Has anyone actually received support from Heltun for the HE-HT01?

• Has anyone received the v2.7 (or original) firmware file?

• Is this firmware available for download anywhere?

Heltun in general is a big dissapointment for us as far as it goes for wall swtiches..

However, their thermostats used to work fine. The load error reporting can be turnd off in paramaters. 

FW update won't solve these reports.
