Hi @747,

As far as I know Ubiquiti AI cameras can recognize faces and car license plates.

I use mobile app Geofency with webhooks to tell my HC who is away or at home. This works for years without any misses.

    Thanks @Sankotronic,

Did you have a working solution for HC3 and Geofency?

    Hi @747,

Not yet, but have done some testing and it will work just fine, same as it is now working on HC2.

Or (alternative) something like UniFi presence, based on WiFi connections of (mostly) phones on your home network, LAN.

Hi @SmartHomeEddy, Yes i had that on HC2 and it worked well.

I actually forgot about that, maybe it can be a solution also, just need to find that old implementation on HC2..

@747 There are several quickapps for UniFi/HC3 available. I use my own. But I don't know if you actually use UniFi or use another LAN solution.

If it comes to real face recongnition, and you have budget for it..then AKUVOX is your way

It is a very high quality intercom.

The downsize is that the support is horrible.. at least what we have here.

and because the device itself is really complex, and you have hundreds of parameters to be set..its a bit challenging sometimes to get what you want, but the overall feeling is absolutely incredible.

They have some cheaper versions with face recognition, but i have never tried the cheaper one. The X915 has outstanding quality. Its face recoginition success is around 99%, even if i tried to disguise myself, it worked.

I played little bit with rebranded Akuvox E16C. The face recognition was great and device is fairly compact. Also Akuvox has Access reader which I think is based on E16 series.
