During the update installation, the system seemed to work fine as usual. After the update, the login window appeared, and my password didn't work, nor did the admin password.
I restarted the unit, and since then, the settings LEDs are red, Wi-Fi green - I can't connect to it, and the router can't even see the LAN.
I can't get into recovery - it's supposedly enabled, but it's not detected anywhere, not through the router, or directly through LAN (I select Wi-Fi, but it won't connect).

Do you have any suggestions? Or should I just ask a service center?

First thing I would do is check that the IP address hasn't changed to the recovery IP:

When a Fibaro Home Center 3 (HC3) enters recovery mode (by holding the recovery button during boot), its default recovery IP address is 10.42.0.1, allowing direct connection for updates or resets. Alternatively, holding the recovery button for about 10 seconds sets the IP to 192.168.81.1, requiring you to manually configure your computer's IP to access it.

If that doesn't work, you'll need to contact Fibaro support I think.

It worked after 10 resets using the network recovery button. Then I connected to the central unit via Wi-Fi. It worked, and then it went to IP address 10.42.0.1. So, it worked. But I still see that my central unit is slowly dying...

Could you clarify what you mean? What symptoms are you experiencing?

Mainly, when I log in via IP at home, everything loads very slowly.
This is the second time in six months that the central unit has crashed, so much so that I spent 3 hours trying to get the central unit back online.
Now, after updating to 5.3 implants, reconfiguration doesn't help; I can only see one of the two lights, for example. I'm having increasing problems with the central unit.

What about your CPU load, RAM?

Did you try clearing the browser cache? Sometimes the HC3 interface loads old scripts or styles, and refreshing the cache can fix UI issues.

Also, how are your other devices behaving? Do you notice any delays, missing updates, or disconnections in the Z‑Wave network?

Since the problem started right after updating the Smart Implant, it might still be stuck in configuration or generating a lot of Z‑Wave traffic. In that case, re‑including the Smart Implant can help stabilize the network.

BTW - may I suggest using AI to solve the issue. (copilot, gemeni, chatGPT)

Just copy-paste your first post and see the answers.
