Question

Posted

HC2 that is hanging on the “starting services” page.

I have restarted it in recovery mode and tried to repair it but it still hangs after it reboots. I am unable to retrieve my last online backup as the system is offline and therefore cannot restore from factory settings until I can access the backup.

I submitted a ticket to Fibaro 4 days ago but it says that the request is still being processed.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @natrimed,

It has been long time ago since I had same problem with "starting services". As far as I can remember I just turned off HC2 completely (cut the power off) and then it started to boot as soon as I connected power supply back. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to return back in service (started all services).

Also I remember that I was checking what services started with link: <HC2_IP>/services/system/servicesStatus.php

Mostly HCserver takes some time to start.

If above still does not help and it takes more than 20 minutes for HCserver to start up then I have no idea what can help. Maybe it is time to replace battery on the motherboard for NVR?
