This update still doesn't fix the geofence issue.

Unfortunately, this problem still exists.

What I don't understand is why it seems only the two of us miss this feature,

and why features that already existed keep losing their functionality with updates.

    Looks like the problem on Yubii app. Don't see any location requests on my phone (Galaxy zflip 6)

    This problem is few months old and same answer.

    I gave up on Fibaro geolocation years ago. I'm now using a 3rd party integration and it works flawlessly 100% of the time

    Same here I’m using Amazon Alexa.

    One of the “advertised” features is geofencing that should trigger events based on your location.

    Unfortunately, this feature has been unstable for years, and there’s still no reliable solution. It’s frustrating because it’s promoted as a core capability, yet in real‑world use it rarely works consistently.

    Based on users' experience:

    Even when it does work, the delays are huge sometimes ten minutes or more which makes it practically useless for real‑time automation.

    The Alexa alternative is nice in principle, but not practical for me because I switch profiles.

    Alexa doesn't support this for security reasons. So, it's not an option for me, or am I missing something?

    I’m using a virtual device (a 4‑channel ZigBee switch) connected to my HC3 and linked to Alexa.

    Alexa uses its location services to turn the switch’s channels ON and OFF, and those changes trigger actions on the HC3. It’s a workaround, but it works unlike Fibaro’s geofencing, which didn’t function reliably.

    @mmleczkowski and Fibaro team,

    Does anyone know why the Yubii Home Center app usually shows “No location” for my HC3, but occasionally (and very rarely) it displays the correct location? The location is set properly on the HC3 itself, and everything else works normally. Is this a known issue with the app or cloud synchronization?
