Question

Hi,

Im trying to figure out how to add a non standard unit for a QuickApp child.

I want to present "dBm" and "Hz" after the values but cant get it to work.

I have used an instance of the com.fibaro.multilevelSensor for it.

Code when trying to set the unit and value:

 self.childDevices[key]:updateProperty("value", { value = jsonTable[1]["Structure"]["Devices"][1]["Device"]["HeatPumpFrequency"], unit = "Hz"})
self.childDevices[key]:updateProperty("value", { value = jsonTable[1]["Structure"]["Devices"][1]["Device"]["WifiSignalStrength"], unit = "dBm"})

But it doesnt seem to work at all, is there another way to do this?
I have also tried to set it when creating the child but it doesnt work either..

btw you could also consider using the framework (QwikAppChild) from jgab. Works great!

Right mouse click on the icon and Save As. Then you see the number.
