Just a question, i have created templates for some 3:rd party devices and wondering if its Ok to share them here or if should send them to you?

Hello,

You mean json parameters files for engine 3.0? 
I think its befenicial to add them here, we can't just add them to the system without samples and testing.

Make sure to add also fingerprint of the device (product info) for the reference.

@K.Drozynski - maybe we can create a dedicated pinned topic for that, what do you think?

Hi @m.roszak,

 

The templates that i have made can be uploaded and shows the parameters that i added, and can also be changed but the devices still says "missing template" when i check under Diagnostics/Zwave.

 

Is there something i need to add in these json files so that they are "registered" in some way?

Hello,

Manual template is not treated as build-in template - maybe we need to change that.
I will talk with the team about that.
