Question

Hello community

Anyone already tried to put a fibaro Door Sensor on a garage sliding door ? (Door is sliding up or down). Is this suppose to work on this mouvement ? As per on their information
I did, but it is not detecting any opening/closing status.
Did I something wrong or is the graphic info not real/true ?
Thank for reply from you all.

    Hi @Madmykefun ,

I put two DW sensors on my garage door, one for fully closed and one for fully opened position. For the one for fully open position I reversed the output.

    Thank you for reply. :-)
The cause was double but I find the problems.
First the position of sensors need to be really close. As my garage door is not a real one but, due to special very old house, it is an external large shutter sot so "precise" as a classic garage door. Not possible to put 2 sensors. Anyway I finally find the good way.
But other problem was sliding detection, detected Open when supposed to be close and same when Closed. Sensor could only be but at very bottom of the door.
I understood that I need to change position of detector and other part sensor. Inverted them by putting them on the other side, not all is correct :-)
Maybe was it possible to invert default position but as I am not developper, changing positions was quicker :-)

Than you for your feedback anyway.
