Here again one of the Fibaro problems reoccurs.....

Only on iOs!!!

Does Fibaro only believes in iPhones and forgets that a great lot of people use Androïd (or Windows) phones??

Because Fibaro nevers mentions the 'only on iOs' exception in manuals, tutorials or plugins but state that they will work on Androïd to

I have here a 2N Helios IP Vario door intercom collecting dust on a shelve :( (A worth of € 980,- exclusive the extra's I ordered, like a

weather protective casing and the extra relay-board). If Fibaro would have removed the remark that the plugin also works on Android

(as I asked them before) I would never have bought this very expensive door intercom.

Just removing a part of a sentence could save people € 980,- AND a lot of frustration!

Hello

Im not sure if this is going to be of use now to you, but let me say it.

I am using a SIP VDP (not helios 2N), working with Fibaro HC2 and I dont have iOS devices to use it with. I am using some 3rd party android apps on my android tab and I have the VDP working with Fibaro. Ofcourse I cant use the Fibaro Intercom app since its 'iOS only. When someone rings the bell on the SIP VDP, my android tab rings. I suppose your 2N should also work similarly.

The android app im using is Voip by AntiSIP(+Video).

1. Create a new voip client, with some username and password in HC2 voip panel. eg: 2003/2003

2. Go to the app configuration in the android phone/tab, feed in details like server, port, username and password save it

Server -> HC2 IP

Port: 5060

username: 2003 (this is an example)

password: 2003 (again example)

Now your android phone/tab is registered as a client and you can make and receive calls to and from other clients in this SIP network. In this example, your number is 2003. Any other registered client can make calls to you by dialling 2003 from their SIP interface.

Ok, summarized from my point of view:

Hotel mode is a simple way to grant users access to devices, but only for one room.

If a user wants to control devices in more than one room, i need to use Access Control.

Am i right?
