Well, in my opininion, reason that you think fibaeo laughs at customers is probably due to this that you can not see the changes fibaro have made.

First thing is that if you dont see the diference between 2.xxx and 3.xxx beta is something realy wrong.

Second thing, this is beta version it is relased to have better feedback before final relase.

If You read changelog you will know that scenes will be deleted in beta, etc - everything is written there.

We inserted also 2 popup windows with that info.

So if you dont see that things maybe you shouldnt test beta versions.

I updated from Beta 2 --> Beta 3 (first back to recover mode) but for me many bugs are solved.

We took HC2 official version functionality, HC2 2.141 beta new features, added some new features and completely rewrote the whole engine of HC2. beta3 == beta2? Have you seen the speed improvement in v3.x version? Have you tried to create scenes, run them (even simple - turn on the light when motion sensor is tripped) and compare how they works in official version, v2.x version and current v3.x version?

We just released new engine. Now it's time to get feedback and fix bugs and after then we'll start releasing new features - maybe then you will see that beta3 != beta2.

Dear jeromefr28, I didn't mean to offend you and I don't want to argue. I just want to explain the reasons of releasing beta version.

This is beta version. It has been released for testing and getting bug reports to fix all before stable release. You really don't have to install this version. The latast stable version is 1.044.

About scenes - it's a temporary solution in first beta. We'll release scene converter in next updates and then all your scenes will be translated to new engine.

However, you can try this version (with scene deleting) and then restore your HC2 using recovery, update to last stable version (1.044) and then restore backup with all your scenes. When v3.x version with scene converter will be released you can try it again without losing your scenes.

No, not 5 months. And I won't answer "a few weeks". Our goals before releasing final, stable (not beta) version are:

- fix bugs reported here

- finish scenes converter from version 1.x to version 3.x

- reach the same functionality as stable version v1.x and old beta version v2.x

I don't have our "to do" checklist now (for sure there is new drenchers panel, VoIP panel and Helios panel in it, but probably more things - talking just about functionalities from old versions) but after that weekend I will be creating our work schedule based on list of bugs reported here. So I think I could give approximate date of releasing v3.x stable version in the middle of next week.

Well I understand that some users are mad at Fibaro, but I am definitely NOT!

It's a good thing Fibaro shares the beta with us, the people who are interested in it, can test it and help Fibaro with finding bugs.

The Fibaro controller becomes only better with this opportunity!

if you are not satisfied with the new Beta, remove it, go back to a stable version and stop complaining.

I have also problems with the new Beta 3, all my Everspring ST814 temperature sensors aren't working anymore. But I have given Fibaro access to my computer so they can look at my HC2, and they have seen how the problem occures. Now they are fixing this, where a lot of users can take advantage from!

That's where the beta is for!

+1,5 month and... as we expected, always not final version V2 or V3 !

the beta 3 was a marketing stunt for Christmas and CES 2013.

I stopped with the HC2. I no longer trust Fibaro !

I use the beta 3 and i'm not so happy

Some time scene are not working and i need to reboot the box

i try to add the door sensor from fibaro and it's not recognized ... i wait the IPAD app and he is not commng ... so i think that with the time Fibaro can produce a correct version ... but when ? for me it's a very big problem .. i sold HC2 and the my clients are not happy because there are no compatibility with most of products and he cannot wait years to have a stable box ... i'm wait the final version and if it's not ok i change my box !

i hope that the beta version will become a stable in about 5 years , and the ipad app will be out in about 2 years time to sell some more fibaro box ,while other z-wave boxes are progressing and opening there api , etc...Lua

you are selling the ipad application talking about for about one year, and never seen by your consumers.

and the android application in beta state for about ....x time!!!

if you want to sell you most have to have a good support, and it's not the cas,

so please treat your consumers in a better and clear way ,with a real clear information.
