Hi There

I recently installed this rather cool electronic keypad lock, It's Z-wave enabled and I've heard reports of it being controlled by a Vera 2, but my HC2 is having none of it. Under release 2 of the software it showed up as an alarm, which didn't work, and under release 3 beta it doesn't connect at all.

Will this device be supported in the final release 3?

Please Fibaro support the Vision Zm door lock! This thing with the 15 minutes is unique! imagine a guy sitting next to the door (because the door lock is already installed) for 15 minutes with all the cables arround...

 

Can someone summerize what we can and what we can not do with the door lock so far? Can we change its lock/unlock code from the door lock itself, so at least the customer can access his home if something goes wrong and using his phone to just unlock it for instance?

In summary ..

You can lock and unlock remotely. The lock works locally like it should.

You can monitor the status of the lock. Locked / unlocked.

You cannot as yet assign new pin #'s or record access by pin # or change or delete pin #'s

You can be annoyed by flashing low battery when the battery gets low

I dismount my lock when I need to add it, then re mount it .. mine is the keyed as well version.

The YRD-220 lock has been working reliably within my set-up for simple lock/unlock control, however the ability to manage PINs and time schedules would enable many powerful access control use cases.
