I have been using the Radio Thermostat (

) with some success with Vera (there is a plug-in), and would love to use a Nest (see other topic).

To carry the 20 " idea a bit further, is there a low cost Android tablet with temperature measurement capability. Maybe not 20" but approaching the cost of a good thermostat, and would provide whole-of-house-control from the thermostat.

A new thermostat on the market: netatmo thermostat, a connected object with API like their weather station and less expensive than Nest or Tado... Perhaps a good alternative !

I've tried almost everything to get the heating panel to work with the SRT321 thermostat. I can't get it to work. The SRT321 is communicating with the HC2 and is associated to the SSR303.

is there any body who has this same problem or has a fix for this problem.

Best regards.

I was just thinking about buying SRT321, but I saw this topic first. Maybe you already managed to get it working with FIBARO HC2? It would be excellent if it worked with heating panel, but if it does not, maybe it is possible to send temperature from HC2 "manually", using LUA Scene? It would be complicated, but possible to make own heating panel with LUA scene - have you tried something like this and can you write something about it?

PJ, it's possible. Robmac has a script that should do all that and more. But I have not figured that one out yet (I'm really a LUA-noob), so I'm currently busy doing my own little heating panel. The control of the valves to the relay is already done, now making a panel myself is the next thing. Shouldn't be hard to have the SRT321 working with that.

My biggest challenge will probably be to make a convenient virtual device that's easy to adjust from the iPhone.

have anyone tried how precise is temperature measuring of srt321 thermostat? I noticed that they show me value 18C but the room is VERY hot..
