Aeon labs home energy meter - 2nd edition - DSB28-ZWEU

Hello,

Do someone have experience with the DSB28-ZWEU (second edition)?

Parameters are different from the first edition (which is working fine)

The second edition works partially with the parameters :

101 set to 770

111 set to 10

102 set to 6145

112 set to 60

103 set to 0

I have the following problems :

- Fibaro shows the 3 slaves (for 3 clams) in the master device. But in the Fibaro GUI, I see only slave 2 and 3. Impossible to see slave 1

- Unlike the first version, only the master can be monitored in the energy pannel, not the slaves

- Unlike the first version, there is no USB plug on the device. My firmware is 1.62. How to upgrade ?

Any other with experience ?

Hi,

My AEON Home Energy Meter DSB28-ZWEU E2 works strangely 

Comparable to real meter  shows 2.7 times more usage [kvh] than should be!?

There are not parameters to correct it

I had the problem, it's a firmware problem version of the aeon.

 

Here is the response of Aeon labs:

 

Get in contact with your retailer and let them know that you will need to have it exchanged for an HEM3 G2 that has firmware V1.8 which has this issue fixed in that firmware version.

 

Unless your controller can set an offset where the offset is 1/3 the value of the kwh, that way is a possible fix fo V1.7 as well.

I have got only few options in fibaro - accordingly attached thumbnails ...

you will not be able to change the display of the device

But if you want to push to a graph app, or display it in a virtual device, just divide the value by 3
