Wall Plug - Still no custom icon, why?

Question

Posted

An issue has been sent in with a desire to be able to change the wall plug icon, for me this is has huge WAF. Right now, the washer, coffee maker, and all the lamps has the same icons in HC2 (the wall plug icon) which makes it hard to distinguish.

Nothing has happened with the issue in a couple of months, doesn't anyone else want this? It should be an easy thing to fix..

If the rest of devices have this function embedded I can't understand why this poor guy has to show the same anodyne aspect all the time...

Maybe there's something different but the piece of code for the OS should be exactly the same as for the others.

Hoping that Fibaro puts their designers to work one some more icons for us. See it as another opportunity to make us greedy; if we see new icons in the HC2, we want to buy additional stuff...

I think most of the people who are having an wall plug are using it for small amount of energy consumers.

So what is the point of using that custom icon who doesn't show that consumption.

A custom icon could also show consumption. You could add LUA-code to define different icons on different consumption loads.
