Wall Plug - Still no custom icon, why?

An issue has been sent in with a desire to be able to change the wall plug icon, for me this is has huge WAF. Right now, the washer, coffee maker, and all the lamps has the same icons in HC2 (the wall plug icon) which makes it hard to distinguish.

Nothing has happened with the issue in a couple of months, doesn't anyone else want this? It should be an easy thing to fix..

The most annoying is on mobile phone, it's hard to see the difference between off (white ring) and on with almost no consumption (very light pale blue)

When there is no other wallplug to compare the colour ring with, it's impossible to say if it's on or off.

Installing customer system and need to change them to lights. Also currently impossible to see if they are on or off... (ring lights are set to off)

One more +1 here, I also have several wall-plugs and it is very annoying.

 

To work-around:

It is possible to place a fibaro dimmer or relay switch instead of the wall-plug behind the wall-outlet (you can change the dimmers parameter (set 32 to 1?) so it works as an on/off switch).

(but, wall-plug can handle more watt's and relay-switch cannot measure energy-consumption (the dimmer can).

 

And yes, I guess it will be possible to work with a scene and hide the wall-plug. One disadvantage of that workaround is that it would not be possible to put a scene in the light-panel. You have to go to rooms or scenes to see a scene.

I also just recognized this problem yesterday. It is really hard to see why this icon can't be changed. And on top the Icon in the mobile app is rather poor. It such a nice wallplug, but such details make it unpleasant to use.

I have opened case on that at bugzilla in September.... meanwhile no response from Fibaro.

Could you all please add +1 at bugzilla it might help to expedite the solution.

One could be led to believe someone at Fibaro has a special relationship to the design of that icon
