Anyone visited CES 2014 and have some inside information on the new products? Or maybe Fibaro can leak some info to your dear forum-users?

Please be a powered unit and not just battery :)

The new motion sensor looks awesome! Another amazing product from Fibaro. I hope it's powered too, but still amazing even if it's battery powered only. Maybe they have a battery that lasts long, then it really doesn't matter. The "me want" factor is too high anyway

Many.. your imagination is the limit. But earthquakes would be one important one. It can sense earthquake and give an alarm for example.

    skoTner,

You'r right itd double funcionality on accelerometer sensor:

    1. Tamper

    2. Earthquake detection.

    It is only batery operated.

It can change rgb coulour depending on temperature or light.

It ca also work like small lamp at night when it detects movement.

You can change how long led should be switched on.

    This are only the basis:)

We will soon publish more details about that.

You can still use the sunrise/sunset function in HC2, so no need for a sensor outside if you only want to use it for light.

What the image describes is what I have been trying to build in LUA. Which is not easy... (and not really succeeded yet

A light should be turned on before you enter the room, not afterwards

You could even turn on lights in 3 rooms, and when it detects that you actually go into 1 of the 3. The other 2 are turned off again

I fact i have several led spot for my garden controlled by fibaro's relay already, but with some motion sensor it could help to prevent intrusion
