Exactly! I felt the same way the moment I saw it. Looks a lot like eye of the sauron.

And fellas any news on the "Swipe"

I can't seem to read the text but looks a lot promising.

I don't really see the purpose of the swipe pad.. could someone enlighten me?

Imagine you are in shower and someone is at door. You heard the door bell so you just wave your hand to the wall(It also fits inside the wall) and voila the door is opened.

The possibilities are endless. However, Lets say you are using it for commercial purpose. Let's say you are hosting a meeting and with one swipe you turn the room into conference room and the curtains lights go down and your projector comes out from ceiling. Next gesture turns the presentation slides and whenever you need light you know its only a gesture away.

Let there be more information I will surely help you build more scenarios with it.

    I am really dissapointed!

/emoticons/default_icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> DC power is one of the most important and basic functions that the device must have. Many people asked about it and wanted to have. But we got finally a lot of different stuff like RGB colors and earthquake detection but not a primitive DC power!

I was very satisfied with Fibaro flood and smoke sensors. They are great devices and can be powered in a regular way. So I thought that Fibaro started to give a flexibility to users in terms of power (battery or DC) in new devices. But that is not the case.

So +1 to Aeon multisensor just because of that!!!

You can always hook it up yourself.

I know it's not how it should be but i did that with all my sensors.

Hooking up power of devices (eliminating batteries) is also what I do with all the battery powered devices. I hoped though that new Fibaro devices won't have the power problem, so no hooking up will be needed for Fibaro motion sensor.

Must say I didn't see the reason for this "swipe" pad at first, but on second thought it seems very nice. Now I'm curious if it would also work with the 45mm thick walnut table...

Just heard that Sonos and Samsung smart TV will be supported by the new Multimedia feature. Now I will have to buy Sonos soon! Just wondering what the difference is with Virtual devices and if you can add devices yourself like my Philips TV.

Just noted that the sensor doesn't have humidity...

So, it's not a full replacement for 4-in-1 (I need humidity at least in a bathrooms)
