I have sent an email to Fibaro Poland

to try to get an answer why ...

I will write the answer from Fibaro when it comes ..

Upon inquiry at my local dealer the terminals are not part of delivery.

That was unfortunate. I guess I'll have to to try to find out exactly what make/model they are and see where to get them.

It seems that the first patches were delivered without terminals.

Has anyone figured out how to use smoke sensor temperature data to manage heating panel?

My Swedish retailer will send out terminal blocks next week.

    Hi

I have just ordered 2 Fibaro Smoke sensors and I wonder, what is Terminals?

What should I use Terminals to?

    Posted

The terminal blocks are used when you run the sensor on external power and not batteries. The terminal block also contains connectors for wired systems for tamper and alarm that may be connected to an alarm system.

I had a reply from my local dealer, the first smoke sensors was without terminals. Seems that Fibaro will give them soon.

Now I dunno if my local dealer will send them for free or not...

I just received a set of smoke sensors. And they do have the terminals in the box...

The thing that I don't understand is that we have a whole new alarm panel and system. But when the smoke sensors goes off... nothing happens! haha. No ipad panel, no lights on, or flashing nothing...

And not connected to each other

Same for me. I do not understand how to use them. Nothing happends in HC2 and I have tried to trigger them with a match (somke and heat). Nothing...

It would be nice to understand how Fibaro thinks in this matter.

They have time and $ to make very nice commercials on YouTube, but when it come to delivery...

    A not very happy customer!

You can create your own scenes which are triggered when smoke sensor is activated. I think Fibaro adds fire scenes as alarm scenes differently also but today you can use them fair enough. Send notifications, ring alarm bells, trigger lights flickering etc. Whats the problem guys?
