Yes Marvin, I always do that. But it is quite often no? Well it can happen, but not once a week I guess.

Milos797, so far for me, it happens quite randomly. But happens most of the time when I'm outside and I require remote access to control my system.

I have problems with iPhone app.

It connects to HC when phone is connected to local network via wifi. When on 3G, it doesn't get connection. What's the problem?

Did you already register at home.fibaro.com and link your home center with that account?

With 3G it connects via Fibaro servers. Connecting can be quite slow sometimes. Like now, just tested it. Sloooooooooowly.

Yes. And if I login via home.fibaro.com, it works like a charm...

Only way to get it work is to change IP address to public. So there's no benefit to use remote access account.

I don't like idea about connecting HC straight to internet without firewall.

With iPhone / iPad / computer I use ssh-tunneling as backup for home.fibaro.com. I just haven't tried it with the ios Fibaro app yet.

Well, just tested ssh tunneling the ipad app. Worked like a charm.

Why not? If port 80 is only in use.

Well, that guarantees nothing, simple sql-injection would do, if there is bug for that. And that is something we won't know for sure. Ever. There are always bugs, the less there is open, the better.

Thanks
