More details about DSC Plugin

Hi:

I've been trying to find more details about the DSC plugin of the 3.907 beta firmware.

There is not much information in the forum regarding to that:

Which DSC models are supported?

Which kind of hardware interface is needed in order to connect the alarm panel to the HC2? I suppose it should be via LAN? in that case, for which kind of interface was the plugin designed? I tried with Envisalink3 without luck.... someone posted that the panel should be connecte through a Global Cache device, but there are no details about the specific device and how to configure it.

Hello when i connect DSC Alarm system over IT-100 and Itach module i have a message: Attention, integration with the alarm control panel is not fully configured. The control panel does not have a alarm partition named Fibaro.

Also i read all Partitons and Inputs but i can't change ROOM. When i change and save nothing happens go back to Unassigned.

I read the sensors and partitions but can't see there status.

 

Fibaro how to resolve that issue ?

Anyone tried this setup with a DSC Neo series. My understanding is that it-100 is not compatible with Neo Series, but there is an interface module with ethernet connection: TL-280 . Any idea?

You need the DSC IT-100 Communication module. This is wired directly to the keybus of the the alarm panel. You will need to rescan the panel (identification) for keypads and expansion modules for the panel to see the module.

This device is RS-232 so you will need an IP-Serial converter such as the Global Cache IP-SR

As far as I am aware this is only available for the Power Series DSC panels

Hi JohnnyC, will a Wifi-SR also work with DSC IT-100 instead of IP-SR? Both Global Cache products.
