New devices will need software to run them and to support them, distracting from much needed focus on delivering what you have promised for a very long time now.

That is the point Fibaro!! So we are still on Topic.

topolino, 4.x beta is developed by software department, devices are by hardware department so please don't mix them

it's even crazy that you can say something like this.... when you have a new product you need software to make the product work... new hardware releases will give the software guys extra work. so please stop this... we need stabile systems first! then, when everything works as advertised.. then you can bring out new products and better software.

Guys. Keep calm and carry on. New fibaro products are ridiculos.

Buttons (!!!). (please make one with "panic mode - critical bug in Fibaro software" phrase on them)

    Funny speakers (!)

Outdated-before-release intercom (no display? seriously? I'll better buy Mobotix or 2N intercom)

And yes, software QA team is non-existent. Neither hardware nor software works fine in a first releases, but situation with hardware (except HC2 / dying flash, I've got already two flash card dead) is much better (probably hardware QA team is not so bad)

Again, small "two-mans-band" (Indigo6 developers) created software far more advanced / stable / fast / reliable than whole Fibaro team

Really enjoying by. Right now. Keep making fun with alpha-prebetas (and support someone's luxury life while you are fighting with critical bugs:) )

shapa, you are still referring to alpha and beta versions as to something that should work perfectly fine, while finding bugs and software faults are natural things in that stage and whole point to issue such versions is testing. Regrading your current issue: sometimes hardware faults happen and that is why warranty procedure exists, and you were informed about actions you should take according to it by support team.

/emoticons/default_icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" /> Intercom: Super cool! Would be a great device, Just one very important question: Fibaro, is it ip65? to be able to use it as a doorbell?!!!! or do you only use it in the house?

    +1

If we could build a video gate system out of this device it will be likely much more affordable than those based on 2N or Mobotix...

Please fibaro , make the videogate waterproof.

    Posted

Fuus, don't you agree that it is sad that the first thing that we are afraid of is that it won't be waterproof...? I mean if you think of such a product it has to be!

    Posted

Yes but the motion detector it would be normal to be waterproof too

is the speaker will be outdoor enable ?

Normal Stupid Fibaro. Lets forget about all the promises we have made and all the problems with our current products and release a load more products that won't work properly either.

Getting beyond a joke now, this company needs a serious management restructure before it has lost all its LOYAL customer base.

I cant imagine Fibaro to make such thing not waterproof.

It would be like selling swim goggles with the label "Not for use in water".

But just to be sure, can you confirm it´s waterproof Fibaro?

Same situation as the motion sensor!

    Indoor use only!

    Yet marketed for outdoor use!

Don't be shocked if it's internal only tbh the motion sensor would get to many false alarms on UV etc...

    Great news.

And if it comes accompanied by the intercom app edition for Android, it will be superb. A stable release for Android tablets will also help.
