Help with a Scene in HCL

Question

Posted

I wish to create a scene where an Aeon Multisensor detects motion, and given that the light is low enough will switch on a relay to switch on a ceiling light.

The scene worked for 2 days, but the multisensor lost configuration and since the scene has not worked. Please help I am not sure what I am doing wrong

I have created 2 scenes

The on scene:

Motion sensor: Aeon == Breached [ ] 0 s and light sensor

< on 130 [0] s

Then

Porch Light Relay = Turn on 120 [0] s

The Off scene:

Motion sensor: Aeon == Safe [ ] 150 s

Then

Porch Light Relay = Turn Off [ ] 0 s

Aeon

Advanced

Node ID: 2

Z-Wave protocol type: 6

Z-Wave protocol ver.: 3.28

Wake up interval (s): 720

Polling time interval: 360

Do not mark as dead: No

Notify when battery low via e-mail

Show energy consumption measurements

Clear historical energy data

Clear

Use template for parameters

Save logs to Event Panel

Alarm settings

Sensor is excluded from alarm system

Sensor is armed with delay or it will trigger the alarm after some delay

Sensor arming conditions

Here you can specify conditions that must be met in order to arm the sensor. Use this function if you want sensor arming dependant on other devices states (eg, if the blind closed).

Alarm mode:

Normal

Always armed

Always disarmed

automatically force device state at arming

Normal mode means that you can arm or disarm device via interface, scenes or virtual devices (lua).

Room Name Type Required state

Porch Motion Sensor Aeon Motion Sensor Safe

Add or remove device

Number Data Type Desired value Current value

2 1d 0 0

3 2d 10 10

4 1d 1 1

Ijuk, what do you mean by "multisensor lost configuration"? Are changes visible in controller? Could you please post some screen shots of your scenes?

I meant that after configuring the aeon, we had a message saying 'not configured' and therefore I reconfigured it.

My current screen shots are enclosed.

OK, so first uncheck the trigger box for light sensor. 2nd: why do you need 120s in the green box? I assume you need to turn it off after 120s? if so, create another action to turn it off and put 120 in red box.

Do you mean something like these two scenes:

    On scene and off Scene

Yes, please try that, however the rest of 1st scene would also be helpful
