@ Fat, Yes iPlay can be a good add-on for all Home automation projects. It is not much expensive.

@ Alandee, iPlay has Audio pre amp out which you can connect to Aux In of Sonos (Only Play 5). Yes, bluetooth has limited range, but iPlay works on wifi to so you can place it any where near to your Bluetooth speaker.

Looks good, is it compatibile with V4.0 beta? Or only V3.59

How much is "not much expensive"?

Cant get any prices from your store..

Ordered one this morning, thought I'd give it a run and see how it goes !

Time will tell & I'll post a full review. My plan is to integrate it with my Sonos system rather than bluetooth, bluetooth will be the fall back if it doesn't work over sonos ( but I can see no reason why it wouldn't )

    Cheers,

    al.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. If it works well then I will look at getting one depending on the price of them

Ok. I have had some time to play with this unit during x-mas.

Have added it in some scenes and made some new voices and so far its working really good.

The manual is easy to follow.

Fast shipment and support also from z-wave india!

Any delays in reading up the commands comparing to the TTS scenes to Sonos from HC2?

I dint experience any delay and have to do text to speech conversion only once and save the file (although i used inbuilt voice notes). I think it does't do TTS convert every time we run the command.

Installed iPlay in our experience center. Just one word:: AWESOME... surely it is going to be a big catalyst for our cash registers. Very impressive. Best thing is that we can have our own customized messages to be played. In addition works great as DLNA network player. Tried with 'bubbleupnp', works perfectly. Easily syncs with smart phones for media streaming. A must have for any automation geek!!!

Question though, if it's so awesome, why is the price and does it have to be ordered in such an obscure way?
