As stated before, I have moved on, I've accepted that I have been lied too and mis-sold products and am taking action on that front. But what you need to bear in mind is that this is a Fibaro forum, not a Fibaro HC2 forum.

HC2 forum? Don't know what you mean, its not limited to that.

I've invested alot of money and i'm as entitled to my opinion as you are.

Of course, have i said different?

EVERY single product that fibaro sells is mis-sold, so until I receive full reimbursement for my investment, you shall have the privilege of my insight and knowledge on the enigma that is Fibaro.

Why do you think that i want your opinions? To me it´s not at all a privilege.

Helpful tips and fixes to bugs i find very welcome but blatant rants as i have said before helps no one and for me it sets a tone in the forum thats not so nice.

Look, I'm not saying you can't complain.

Of course you should if you feel that something is wrong.

BUT, there are so many ways of expressing your opinion.

I think you know what i am talking about.

If it where true that all systems and experiences where like yours then Fibaro wouldn't exist at all.

Don't forget that its also a system that works great for a lot of people.

Speedy.....look at history. How far did appeasement get the world? On more than one occasion.

Like it or not people are allowed their say, good or bad. Just because not everything that is said is good it doesn't make it not constructive does it?

Ask yourself; if this many people have problems, are they ALL wrong, ALL moaners or? Why are they moaning....oh it's because they're not getting what they expected. Appeasement gets you nowhere, you just get used 'more'.

I like my system, but it does have problems like lots of people. If you don't have problems then I don't get it. Still depends on what products you have, what version you're on etc etc.

I have problems with Motion Sensors so I want to upgrade....but I can't upgrade because in new version another of my products has now been 'broken'. So what do I do? Either way I'm stuck with broken stuff. What happens when I ask nicely....no one answers. Get stressed, still no answers. So, you just give up! It could be great, I just don't think they care that much about their customers. You have a better experience, well good for you, really:)

Everyone's different, that;s life! If you don't like people moaning then don't listen to them!

There is a difference here, saying something good or bad.

Its the way you say it and they way we approach the problem that makes it constructive or not.

Of course people have problems, I've never said they don't.

Well you might have some things that are not fully supported and tested.

If you have Fibaros products it should work to 100% otherwise something is wrong and must be fixed. My systems have worked solid on 3.590 and 4.031

Well, thats strange to me as i use all their products and have no issues.

And if you don't get a TeamV session or support answers then thats really bad when you contact support.

On a side note with bug fixes and support, what do you think of Google reading this.

Its only 60% of ALL android devices..

Please login or register to see this link.

With the new way of Plugins i hope we will see plugin updates instead of completely new firmwares, thats the way forward i think, like google now does it on its core apps, or an idevice.

Im not saying we don't complain, its the way we do it that makes all the difference.

Google has never back ported such fixes. It has always been up to the OEM to handle such.

HUge difference here: Google has always _stated_ this fact, so any OEM knew this when they made the decision to launch an Android based product. Still, sometimes they do release such a patch.

And also, when was the last time you saw Fibaro patch an old version of their sotware?

Well it was some days ago at the lates, with V4.031.

Fixing a patch or bug fixing and updating software can be the same.

Otherwise someone like Apple wouldn't have made a single patch with that logic.

Nu-uh. 4.031 is a new version. Not a patch to an existing version.

Android/Windows/OSX/iOS has supported branches in which normal maintenance releases take place. And you are right, Apple never issues a "patch" for iOS. They always release a new version. WHen was the last time you saw Apple issue a new version of iOS6 now that iOS8 is out?

Then you have the EOL branches to which no new patches will be released. This is the Google case you mention.

Then you have the odd case that a mfg decides to still patch an older revision, despite that it is EOL.

I think you understand what I'm trying to say really.

An update can include a patch and bug fix.

The thing i was talking about really is the statement:

That is exactly what we are talking about in this thread.

Non constructive things to say.

They don't have old software, no EOL devices that doesn't get updates that are in need of patches from what i know.

So, you use a flawed analogy, and when someone points that out it is "non constructive"?

Again, i think you know what i am talking about.

Im not giving another example of why the statement is non constructive, there are many in this thread.

I feel like this is "The guy in the wheelchair" problem.

Im i the only one (together with 3 others) that understands why this thread was started?
