Family Tracking and Push Notifications - iPhone

I can't get family tracking to work - no Family group showing on The House etc. I have 3 users setup - 1 admin, 2 me, 3 my wife. My wife an I both have iPhones running iOS8. We are both setup for remote access and have the app installed on our iPhones. We have GPS tracking enabled with 5 minute updates. When looking at Rest API get/users we both show as hasGPS = "false". It's driving me crazy - any ideas? And push notifications don't work either despite them be enabled also. Also driving me crazy. Ideas?

Looks GPS is working only with android phones (in apps settings there is gps accuracy)

iOS is lacking such setting

Able to get gps information from users but the family tracking function is still unavailable.

 

have already updated to 4.035

 

fibaro support, any solutions?

 

Edit: GPS family tracking function just came on live, its back again!

I am residing in Singapore too. Just wondering if you can share how to get this family tracking functionality as GPS is not working on my iPhones/iPads since HC2 v4.03x and v2.3.x iOS app.

Is your hasGPS set to true yet?

You can change the settings under Configuration/Access Control/User List and edit the How frequently GPS position from the user’s iPhone should be collected to 1 minute

 

What user accounts are your iphone/ipads using to use the family tracking functionality?

 

From my own experience, I have an iphone and an android phone. I used admin account on all my devices and check to see if the gps is working and subsequently changing back to my non-admin account.

I have set the option to 15 mins for 3 accounts (used by iPhones and iPads) but when check using the API (

Let me give your method a try and see if it does help turn on the GPS tracking.

i contact support, they say thats is a know bug, but font appear in know issue of release note ???? wtf

Nope.

All acounts have hasGPS: false

No passing info whatsoever- iOS also is losing location services in fibaro app.

I did reset of hc2, reinstall everything etc. nothing.

"Disappointed" is pushing me to look for other solutions - like grofancy etc.

Are your mobile applications using remote server to home.fibaro? Are your settings on your mobile phone all settled correctly?

Yes. I can access all things from iphone without any issues. Settings are correct - i have seamless access. From broser and dom.fibaro.com also is working.

No luck with Malvin's method. None of my devices are able to be track nor enable GPS. I believe it has to do with the iOS app itself too (refer bug I raised - 2698).

Should be an ios issue then as I'm using android currently. Do you guys have any android device to try? To see if it's the IOS issue or your main controller.

Unfortunately, no android here. I doubt it is iOS issue, more like Fibaro app for iOS cause the Location Services setting page, Fibaro app's GPS/Location setting keeps become empty.
