Best way to replace battery in door/window sensor?

It can take a minute or two to complete, and yes I actually see two green lines confirming completion.

 

I think that is a problem, should be one. I have one smokesensor that somethimes gives me 2 green lines, but then it is not OK. I have to factory reset it and then try again to include it.

i am puzzled at the fact that I can not find a reference to a v1.5 aeotec recessed door sensor anywhere on the net. the only version I can see if v1.12. very odd. 

 

factory reset ... hmmmm ... any idea how to do that?

Fibaro, Fibaro, Fibaro!!!!!

 

I ended up buying more Fibaro door sensors and almost bought another Aeotec recessed door sensor, but held off as I believe support are looking at adding a template to support v1.5 of the module.

 

The abridged version is … .... I went to add the brand new Fibaro door sensor. Nothing. I then tried the 2nd brand new sensor. Nothing again. At this stage I am going a bit mad.

 

How can three sensors not add to my HC2?

 

I walk upstairs and add one of the new Fibaro door sensors to my master HC2. It adds instantly. The original Fibaro door sensor also added instantly. In then deleted the two sensors from the master HC2, went downstairs and added them to the slave HC2.  They add instantly.

 

Now, the question is, other than screaming a lot more, what would you do if you only had one HC2 in the house?
