Z-Wave Fibaro Relay Insert 2 * 1.5 KW and Intermediate lighting

demetrio812

Question

Hello,

the electriciang that is coming next week just told me that the corridor light system is called "intermediate lighting" (basically I can turn it on and off my 3 different points), can that still works if I put 3 relay modules?

Thanks,

Dem

I added relays to all my lights at home, I understand what you are talking about. The situation you have is described here. I cannot summarize it in text, you need to have a look at the schematics:

It involves only one relay, but maybe you need to change wiring.

I went for an alternative approach and replaced my toggle switches with double momentary switches. And some re-wiring.

This might raise more questions then it answers, because you have some options depending on the actual situation.

To give exact advice... Your electrician has to find out where wires to the lights are, where the switches are, what wires are available in the boxes (e.g. do you have an extra L or N) and what you want to do with it, e.g. do you plan on using the second relay to control something else? And then, of course, someone has to study that

Before you buy, you can study the manuals of these relays. You'll find them at
