For quite some time WindowsPone users feel aggrieved, because of lack of development on this platform ....

I do not wish to discuss the reasons " Why can not we ? " but rather to ask you " Why not try this "  :

For now Windows platform is not supported, and we do not plan in near future to do so. Lets imagine we used this way to develop app for WP from Android sources: there still will be need for maintenance, people will ask for improvements on this platform and report bugs. Development of an app does not end after its release. To give an example I can only say that we even got support and feature request for WP app that was not even ours, I think we can imagine what would happen if we have released even beta app

I really understands your concerns with the "support request " , this is why I say " Beta " or " Private beta on request " WITHOUT any Support !

It is quite possible that Microsoft overtake you with their bridge  ! their aim is to attract people like you do not forget it

We are aware of that option, however it is rather not possible to give users app without any support. But I brought our mobile developers team attention to this topic.

Private alpha/beta tests with users who understand that it's not supported (if MS conversion process works) would give as at least some way of controling HC2 from our phones. We had third party app which was working fine on v3.x firmware, but after changes to API in v4.0 it's useless and developer does not have time to upgrade it.

I'm not going to move to android or iphone that's for sure. I'm WP user for years and i love how fast and easy this platform is and how good it connects with my other windows based hardware, but having no control over my HC2 while away from home, kills sole issue of having home automation.

You are company from Poland and WP users in Poland  are around 20% of smartphone users(also very popular in Italy and Spain, unfortunately unpopular in USA). That is a big number of users left out.

It is possible to think of this in a broader sense. With Windows 10 you get to develop for the whole range of devices. Be it Xbox, phone, tablets or regular PCs.

I know I'd love to have Xbox integration.

And I'd love to have a client on my PC as well. An application that I could customize and make the way I want it to look.

Run it in full screen on a 8 inch 99$ Windows device, and at the same time have it on my Windows Phone all running from the same ode base.

Take it further and make the same application work on android and iOS with Cordova/Xamarin.

I think this is not a maintenance overhead. It's a move that can streamline your development efforts and in the process enable your application to  run on millions of Windows 10 devices.

    My 2 cents

And don't forget if you port your Fibaro app to A universal APP you can compile it to android and ios. So that would mean that you only have to support one stream.

If Fibaro don't support this...I think its time to move to smarthub which is far cheaper and supported.

Here's a video, so nobody says it's some kind of scam.

Please login or register to see this link.

What you need is Windows Phone 10 preview, fibaro.apk downloaded from google play (just search google for "download apk from google store"), Visual Studio and 30min of your time.

Search google for "running android apk on windows 10".

As you see on video it works like a charm. SHAME ON YOU FIBARO! Just do a conversion of your source code via Microsoft like it was mentioned in first post and THAT IS IT!!! If android app side loaded to windows phone has 100% functionality than it should be just effortless to give all WP users proper app in WP store!

Since your last post, no returns from your "mobile developers team " explaining their real problems to bring the application

    Have you watched the video?

This demonstrates once again the unwillingness from your mobile developers team!

Refuse to port an application despite the growing demand, surveys and the free tools ... : They refuse !!!! It is a behavior Fanboy against microsoft!

it's questionable behavior, and very offensive to users of the platform...

I will add my voice to this request.

Windows 10 gives opportunity to use one codebase to reach many devices.

I would love to have a windows 10 fibaro universal app to use on both my MS surface and on my future Lumia 950.

I also understand that this will greatly increase the pressure one the developers team.

But also consider it as a great opportunity. Windows 10 on desktop is a large and fast growing platform.

I recently bought a Fitbit fitness tracker. One of the sellings points that made it easy for me? Great windows 10 app that works flawlessly!

I tried Windows phone from Control Living. Now, I'm able to remove devices, wake all devices, see consumption in wattage and control Fibaro with scenes.

Sad that Fibaro doesnt support Windows Phone. I changed from Homematic to Fibaro/Z-wave and this is the only downside up to now. This is the only reason what keeps my colleague to switch to Fibaro. Now that Microsoft brought out a decent model with the Lumia 950 and give a fairly easy way to compile apps for windows mobile its time for companys to honor customer with windows phone. Even there is a windows phone app for my Bosch Indigo lawnmower.

    Hi Fibaro,

I would also appriciate a Windows Phone app. I like your Product but this is a real minus for you. A lot of other similar companies support it, so I think it would be a big plus for you if you would support it as well.
