Question

As my HC2 backup is corrupt and I am not willing to send it over to Poland to let Fibaro try and fix it (full story see here:

I was thinking of buying a new HC2, then transfer all data/settings to the new one using the "Controller transfer" function. Then I can send my old and broken one to support and maybe sell it later as a used unit.Would that work? Is this really a one-to-one copy? Do I need to add it forst as a secondary controller? How should I proceed?
