Posted

Good evening

After I recovered my Fibaro HC2 I get no access . I can still login with admin / admin , but then I just added the rotating balls .

I have deleted your browsing history , but it has brought nothing .

I am now trying for several days desperately regain access to my HC2 get , unfortunately without success .

I'm really despair .

Has anyone of you an idea ??????

Many thanks in advance

I think this might be the wrong forum to get help for your blue balls, but maybe we at least can help you access you HC2.

Try connecting locally. By default the HC2 is only visible within you local network.

local login: ex ; 192.168.1.x/fibaro/en

remote login:

Please login or register to see this link.

I can only advise contacting with support to look up what kind of error shows up in the browser console when you enter the page.

Fibaro support I have contacted 3 days before that did not sign .

I hope that someone can help me here .

on the forum in Germany has someone with the same problem , it advised to try here .

with him an administrator of this forum has been able to solve the problem on Team View .

I'm thinking aloud here... if home.fibaro.com works but not

Please login or register to see this link.

Then it might be something on the machine that you run the browser on. You have tried different browsers, but on the same machine? Can you try on another machine? (phone?) Possible causes are ad-blockers, anti-virus, possibly firewall.

There's also the possibility that your HC2 has received the same address as another device on the network. That's difficult to find out, but the symptoms fit this problem. What I would do is find a different, free address (test with ping) and via home.fibaro.com change your HC2 to that.

The recovery mode I have repeatedly tried - to no avail .

    I've tried everything :

    another PC

    Deleted cache previously

    tried firefox and explorer

    all to no avail .

After login with admin / admin I always see only the rotating blue balls .

I'm really desperate and hope you can help me .

    Best regards

one occurs to me still :

the HC2 is working properly before .

the Fibaro finder detects the HC2 without problems , only register that does not work - only blue balls

Hmm..I'm lost. I'm afraid tech support might be the way to solve this.

Could you try connecting you computer directly to your HC2 (hardwired) and turn off your firewall.  This shouldn't solve the problem, since your not having any issues elsewhere but it's still a shot in the dark. Press the learn button to get a static ip. The ip should now be 192.168.81.1.

As I was saying ..shot in the dark..

    Hello again

I have tried all the suggestions - unsuccessfully .

perhaps has anyone an idea , or I'll have my HC2 in the trash (no joke ) .

Can you please shut down the HC2 (single click left button when looking at the front of the HC2). Then, instead of blue spinning discs, you should get no response at all. Then, if you ping the address, if you still get a reply, that may explain things. If the ping gets no reply, then I'm out of ideas. If you really want to, I can do a TeamViewer session with your PC. But then you would have to trust my authority and expertise, something I cannot vouch for...

Unfortunately, I am not available right now, but on monday we can meet. If you have not used TeamViewer before, I recommend you to check their website. The tool can be downloaded for free. The tool is free for personal use. After installing the tool, you'll get some codes. I need them to connect to your system (don't post them here).
