blue balls after recovery

Question

Posted

Good evening

After I recovered my Fibaro HC2 I get no access . I can still login with admin / admin , but then I just added the rotating balls .

I have deleted your browsing history , but it has brought nothing .

I am now trying for several days desperately regain access to my HC2 get , unfortunately without success .

I'm really despair .

Has anyone of you an idea ??????

Many thanks in advance

    Hello

I have written to the Fibaro support . after several days I received an instruction . I had access to set up so that an employee can access my HC2 .

that has worked well then . when I came back to my HC2 , I have been playing a backup of my data backup . now it dont goes again .

there must look again to the support .

    it remains exciting ......

I had a TeamViewer session with TR 4 and I have to say I never heard of this before. After recovery, you can log in, but then you get spinning disks. I assumed recovery was not all right, and the remote intervention of support enhances my feelings about this.

    Hooray,

I have access again. Fibaro has done the following:

I logged into your system and check what may be the reason.

I replace file responsible for recovery, which the most probably was corrupted.

In order to solved your issue you should do a recovery once again. With new file it should work properly.

    There are a few steps:

    1) Turn off the device by disconecting power supply

    2) When turned off, turn it on again with recovery button “+” pressed (next to power)

    3) When LED are flashing from left to right, please release recovery button “+”

Then it should be visible in LAN network. There you choose recovery option.

Your password and login will be reset to admin, admin after that.

You should do a full recovery.

Once I have the newest software partly filled, I wonder if I can play the backup again. Has anyone a tip?

Difficult to say, the backup might be damaged, like the recovery was damaged... However, if you restore it and it doesn't work, you should be able to start again from scratch, by following the recovery procedure Fibaro gave you.
