Hi,

I was assuming that the dimmer2 (FGD-212) had the capability to dim and switch 2 lights seperately.....

Looking at the installation and documentation I can only switch one lamp with one module.

Not a big issue, I can use the module somewhere else...but question is which dimmer module is capable do to this? It is a single wallbox so no space to install 2 dimmer modules.

Was looking at qubino ZMNHBA2 but seems that one is not capable of dimming, only switching.

Currently there is a jung 1252ude double dimmer installed with 3 wires...one live, 2 switch wires.

Hope somebody knows a solution for this setup with usage of zwave network!

I've had the same problem and installed the module in the lamp instead of behind the switch.

    Though also crossed my mind, but was not sure about the usage of the switch.

    In case I install the module in the lamp do I than still have same switch capability with the flips ?

    In other words in case the dimmer module is switched off can I still switch it on by flipping the switch itself ?

    Yes you can. You would connect it between the live and switched live so the module would detect the change in status from the switched live and turn the light on and off

    I am trying to set it up but cannot get it to work.

    At the lamp I have 2 wires, live and switched live. How to connect the wires into the module and lamp

    I have connected like below:

    Black-->L

    Blue  -->N-->  Lamp

                  ~ --> Lamp

    It works fine in the app but when I use the swich it does switch off. But when I switched off via the app, no response via the toggle switch.

    Also tried to switch Black and blue in at dimmer side but same behaviour. Also tried to use a momentary switch but that only works when I hold it down

    Need an expert opinion..all other modules were build in without any issues but this one is giving me a headache
