Can't change Wake up interval for danfoss valves

Question

Posted

Hi

I would like to change the wake up interval for my danfoss valves but it seems HC2 don't take into account my new value !!!

What's wrong with that ?

Does someone try to change them ?

Thanks

So you change it, save it, push the middle button on the valve, refresh the browser?

When I change it and save it, it is not recorded !!! I know that for devices parameters, they are taken into account at the next wake up...

For valve, nothing is mentioned to confirm my new value is saved !!

Change of "wake up" is not recorded in the status window, for any device. But changes to parameters ARE confirmed at the top of your screen. "Wake up" is not a parameter... That's why I was specific about the procedure. I used it 2 days ago on LC12 and LC13. Change "wake up", save (observe it reverts to the previous value! Ignore this!), push the middle button on the valve, maybe wait a few seconds, refresh the browser. The new value should be displayed. If that doesn't help... I'm out of ideas.

I had the same problem with one of my valves. The wake up internal was set to 0 and couldn't be changed. Whatever I set was ignored upon saving. The thing that fixed it was to re-add the device. Something must have gone wrong during initial adding.

I agree with @trash... I just thought of something else... these thermostats don't support rechargeable batteries. It's in the manual, and I've tried some NiMH, some years ago. The LC-12 may seem to function, the display lights up and the motor may spin, but it really doesn't work well. Never tried with an LC-13 but it is still in the manual of the LC-13: "Rechargeable batteries must not be used.".
