Hi Fibaro .. anyone from Fibaro .. preferably someone from the hardware side of things ..

Seriously curious as to whether they will become product or not, a time frame to think about and moan about when you don't meet it, and an indication of price

.. or  .. should I just use third party items and give up waiting ? A response would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately I was fed up with waiting and ended up buying a Mobotix Intercom.

I have read on other posts that the Fibaro Intercom was due to go on sale last month. Who knows.

If it does go on sale I'll be disappointed as clear communication could have led me to wait 6 months longer.

I heard it was early next year release for the intercom but haven't heard anything about the player. From the video I saw of the intercom and the article I read recently it sounds brilliant

Well.. we can put a +1, +1000 or +1000000... one thing we are pretty much sure about is that we will not get a response from Fibaro...

 

We have had things promised and never been delivered on time.. I saw the reports abut the intercom going on sale in December 2015.. Well here is hoping...

 

I too am waiting on a intercom but might as well take the plunge with DoorBird as it does seem to do pretty much what I would like it to do.. except interact with Fibaro.. I suppose I can live with that..

Ring, Doorbot, and Skybell have shown how difficult it is to get a good working solution. Doorbird may finally be one. As for Fibaro I would love to see they get it right! If the do I´m sure we will see the sales bloom. If not spare us...

 

By the way my wife is still waiting for my decision that a solution is good enough to plunge ahead. We have learned the value of system stability as our smarthouse grows, gets more integrated and complex...
