Still the possibility to change a battery is still cheaper if parts can be sourced? If they don't last 3500 days + :-S

Try vesternet if your buying a few off them they will see you ok regards price. Best supplier in the UK by far!

Have a chat with them... They would rather have bulk purchase and some business than no business at all!

I distinctly remember from the kickstarter campaign that they will offer battery replacements at some time. What the price will be is another question. But if they actually last 10 years it's not that bad deal even if you have to buy a new one.

Just a heads up... remember to change the wake time to 86400 as no template exists! Or your battery life will be reduced!

I got two of them last week. They look great and work ok - the only thing that's irritating me is that I get two devices - one opening sensor and one motion sensor (!?) when including the strips.

Interesting. I have had mine installed since the 30th of November and the interface is still reporting full battery. Mine is also mounted in the doorblade outside the seal and the lowest temperature it has seen is -16 degrees.

Just out of interest, did you see the battery level drop at some point or was it suddenly dead?

    Posted

    hi, minimum here was -5

/emoticons/default_smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="https://forum.fibaro.com/uploads/emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> no the level drop suddenly to 0 and was indicating full yesterday. i'm not suggesting at all that it's a bad product! the module was mounted on a heave door gate receive big shots when the door close, and everything vibrating very strongly, the plastic protection falls several times and the board exposed to cold but also water. I really think that I was to exigent with this module for the condition of use. I'll have to find out and other solution...
