Hi folks,

I want  to configure Yale YDM 3168 door lock with Fibaro Home center lite.

Appreciate if anyone could help me with the steps to do so ??

Yes I do have installed the external z wave module already - ZW EU2.0 CP2-5-5.

in advanced Menu ...

Option 3 - Individual credential mode

Option 1 - Register

  -- option 'register controler' code '80'

hc Fibaro in learning mode

confirmed code 80.

you will see the process of inclusion in Fibaro hc

 

look at the instruction booklet on page 13 for menus yale.

 

I have configured on HC2, I guess in hcl be the same.

only a Yale YDM 3168 does not work

i thought that the Yale YDM 3168 is zwave already

Yes you are right u should install a z wave module for YDM 3168.

Yale YDM 3168 is not z wave by itself.

YDM3168 don't have buit in z-wave module. You must add z-wave module (green little box).

hi guys....i have YDM3168 and also the same z-wave module which mentioned above....same way i added lock to home center but the problem is i can't control lock from fibaro home center.....i don't know why.... i tried alot of time....add to fibaro home center and again deleted from fibaro but it's not working....any help???

No, you can't really use locks

Good day I have a YALE lock of ASSA ABLOY YRL221-NR-619, which when including it is not configured properly for lack of Templates, I already sent the template to FIBARO and I understand that they will include it in the following updates, I would like to know if Is there any way to configure it manually while there is technical support response.

My problem was that when I put the lock on the FIBARO system it did not trigger when sending commands.

It had as a guide a tutorial of a version of the old Fibaro OS. In this one was selected in the option to add devices the characteristic "The Device is located far from the Home Center". After several tests I decided to check the options "NWI - Network-Wide Inclusion" and "Add in security mode if device supports it", this way the system is included allowing control of the device, even if the témplate is not available.

and whilst it starts to include it...and kinda works...after a couple of days it stops working.
