Hi

Is SSH access available on the HC2?

I can see that sshd is running but the root password is not that same as the admin password.

As a Developer, I just need to see more of what the box is up to, is the root password a known thing?

thanks

I know you can actually add an array to startScene(id, arr), however his point is still valid. It's also worth noting that this information is not available in your API description which noone seem to have updated for months, leaving people in the dark on what is actually possible to do in lua.

The availability of logging in HC2 is atrociously bad. Currently the lack of z-wave network logs means that I have no idea why my network appears to be going crazy at the moment and I have no way of finding out. The total absence of response from Fibaro support adds insult to injury meaning people have to rely on pure guesswork when trying to debug their problems. I can assure you that had I known this before I bought it I would definitely not have bought the HC2.

Hello,

Thank you for your opinion! I have forwarded it to our team.

Say I have scene/VD  A and scene/VD B, both have a fibaro:startScene() for scene C. The question he's asking is how would he know which scene/VD called scene C?

Now, I get it. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with your fibaro support, I sent the mail a few days ago, and now reply to me. And there is no substantive help, my English is very bad, but I have tried, you have no technical support in China? Or the technical support here can not help me, because they and I encountered the same problem, please use Valley translation

I think it is not unreasonable to have a Sudoers file with a publicised list of commands that Developers and Fibaro installers can access. I work for a very large Telco and this is how we allow our 3rd parties to control hosts that we do not want to give root access to.

An example of this would be reboot - I cannot count how many times my HC2 and now HC3 has become unresponsive where the web interface will not respond but I can SSH to the host. The only other option in this case is to power off and re-power on the host.

Therefore some simple commands like; reboot, restart crontab (this would help with a locked scene) access to the logs etc via sudo.

@Fibaro your thoughts please?
