Clear historical data Energy and Temp Panel

TW1979

Question

Hi,

I had to restore a backup on my HC2 and now I have a large "gap" in my Energy and Temperature panel. (backup was from 20 days ago). Which is, off course, to be expected.

But now I was wondering if it is possible to just delete all historical data so I can start with a clean slate.

I've searched, but I can't find anything (maybe I haven't searched good enough :-P )

Thx

Hello,

There are two ways of starting with a clean sheet:

1. Recovery procedure without restoring backup

2. Re-including a device that gathers this data and sends to the gateway

Note that after some time the gateway loses old records, but that depends on the frequency of reporting by your device.

  • Hi,

I got the energy panel empty by deleting the energy consumption data of all my devices. Really should have tried that first  . I thought that that wouldn't have worked since I used code to put the data of my Smappee Home Energy Meter into the "power" of an unused switch, but it did work.

Haven't found a way to clear the temperatures (except for your solutions, T.Konopka), but that's a bit too much work for my taste :-D.

    Thanks for your reply.
