Question

Hi,

I am runing a Fibaro HC2 with multiple devices with the latest Firmware 4.104 without any problem, execpt the Fibaro flood sensor. The sensor was included 3 month ago. Was working fine and was included in some scripts to measure temperatur of the heating room and possible flodding of my water overrun of my house heating.

Last week the HC2 was showing a connection problem and it was not possibe to recommect the flood sensor. Also rescan of the network was not working. I checked the sensor all independent functions work fine. The batterie has 90% remaning power. But the range test showing that the Sensor was not able to communicate with the z-wave network anymore, even when it was plached 20 centimeter away from the HC2. The distance before was 10 meters and 1 meter away from a wall plug, which is still operating fine, processing any remote comand.

Has someone similar problems or know a reason why this is happening? Is the only way to exclude and re-include the Sensor?

If the range test ends in "glowing red" then I'd try this, in this order: replace or swap battery (even when it says 90%), soft reconfigure, reconfigure, exclude & include.
